Material Safety Data Sheets

Federal law requires that manufacturers and distributors of chemical products must create Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) as part of OSHA’s HazCom Standard. MSDS are a source for information about hazards and safety precautions for using hazardous products. United States manufacturers and distributors will begin using Safety Data Sheets (SDS) as part of the recent adoption of the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). The new SDS will have the same purpose as the MSDS. As we work toward this transition, Hantover provides easy search fields for both MSDS and SDS, as they become available, for all applicable products.
